Case study: Helping TVET policy-makers and managers to identify IR 4.0 skills

The Colombo Plan Staff College in the Philippines runs a regional programme to introduce senior managers, policy-makers, administrators, practitioners and teachers of TVET to ways the TVET system should respond in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0). The programme explains the dynamics of IR 4.0 and its disruptions in TVET. It helps stakeholders to identify digital competencies required to address IR 4.0 and become familiar with online tools and learning management systems for authoring content for competence development. It also offers a platform for producing a strategic framework for managing smooth transition to IR 4.0.
